Year 1/2 - Buttercups
Our topic this half-term is 'Where in the world are we?'. This will take us on an exciting journey around the globe! We will explore the oceans, continents, discover what a compass is and learn about the different geographical features that are local to us.
Before we broke up for summer, we made beautiful buttercups using paint, egg cups, paper and paint.
We have been enjoying the adverse British weather recently. We never know what it is going to be like when we wake up! It makes for an exciting day at school.
Welcome to Buttercups class, the home of our key stage 1 children, taught by Miss Lewis (Mon-Thurs) with Mrs Bowyer (Thurs-Fri) and supported by Mrs Burkin (Full time).
